If you do not have a Gmail Account on iPhone, you can follow the steps below to Add your Gmail Account to iPhone, after which you can Sync Contacts to Gmail. The email you just opened, or link you just clicked, was not sent by FeedBlitz. It was junk, sent by an unknown third party who is not using FeedBlitz to send their emails or manage their RSS feeds. FeedBlitz hasn’t been hacked; we just didn’t send you that email or generate that link. Syncing contacts between your iPhone or iPad and Gmail isn’t that hard. However, you have to take extra steps compared to Android users who have the feature as part of their OS functions. There are several apps on iTunes that can help you copy Gmail contacts to your iPhone, but you can also do it manually. To sync contacts with your Android phone, you need to make sure that you're adding the contacts to your Gmail account on your iPhone rather than to your iCloud account. Turn on Contacts syncing with your Gmail account by going to Settings - Mail, Contacts and Calendars - your Gmail account - turn on Contacts. Also, on your iPhone settings you should disable Gmail Contacts synchronization in order to avoid duplicate contacts and save time linking contacts. If you use any calendar or contacts application for synchronization you should choose only one as a default, this way you will not create duplicates, you will save time and battery life.
Set up your contacts account
You can set up your email accounts to share contacts with the Contacts app. If you have a contacts account, like a business or school directory, you can set that up too. Here's how:
- Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap your email account and turn on Contacts. Or tap Other to set up a contacts account, like an LDAP or CardDAV account.
- Enter your information and password.
- Tap Next.
If you have multiple accounts set up in the Contacts app and want to see contacts for a specific one, open Contacts and tap Groups in the upper-left corner.
